Episode 11: Interview with Regina Gulbinas Part 2

This is an episode which discusses domestic violence. If you are triggered by this, you may wish to skip this episode. Domestic violence can happen to anyone. No body deserves to be physically, emotionally or psychologically abused. That's why it is so important to pay attention to early indicators of this type of behavior.

This is the second part of the interview with business woman Regina Gulbinas. In this part of the interview, Regina discusses the early red flags that her ex husband exhibited. She goes into more detail about why ignoring those early signs led her into a marriage in which there was domestic violence. She shares her story of what finally led her to leave her marriage and the battle she had to undertake in order to prevent her husband from leaving the country with their two children.

If you are a victim of domestic violence, there is help for you by going to the Domestic Violence website. You can also call 1-800-799-7233 if you are in the US.

Episode 9: Mother’s Day

Mother's Day may be difficult for some if this is the first (or second or third) one you are spending without your husband. For me, this is my second Mother's Day that I'm spending on my own. I share thoughts about this holiday when I was with my ex-husband and the plans I've made for this year's. My bottom line is do self-care in the way you need to do it for yourself.

Also, I'm moving my podcast to dropping on Mondays, which I explain in this episode as well.

Thank you for listening and please be sure to leave me feedback and share with anyone who you think might find this helpful.

Episode 8: Decisions

Episode 8 covers decisions I had to make as I worked through the end of the marriage. The first decision I discuss is what I did after the ex said that we were done. I discuss turning to websites that cover reconciliation in the face of infidelity and why it was one that I eventually turned away from. Then I discuss my second decision in which I finally asked him to leave.

Please let me know how I'm doing. I would love feedback! Also, are there topics you want me to cover? Please e-mail me at mschristal.hall@gmail.com if there is something you want me to cover. Leave feedback wherever you listen to me!

Episode 7: Overcoming Challenges

In today's episode, I share my tips on overcoming challenges that you are facing. The first part is dealing with getting through the early days after the bombdrop. It is easy to obsess over what the other person is doing, so I had to develop tools in order to focus on getting myself back on track. I then describe my current challenges and what I'm doing in order to overcome them.

Please leave me feedback! Let me know what you think so far! Also what are some topics you would like to see covered.

Episode 4: What’s an Overcomer?

This episode provides an overview on how I came up with the name "Overcomer." It also discusses the Runaway Husbands group and why I shared the post that I did in the previous podcast and why I won't share other posts. Finally, I close with how I'm rediscovering myself in this journey as I overcome my (completely) unexpected and unwanted divorce.

Episode 3: Don’t Judge

I discuss a post in one of the divorce groups that I belong to that was full of judgment. It seemed to place blame on the women in the group for not doing enough to save their marriage. I also share another post from Facebook by a man who experienced infidelity who believes as I do that infidelity is not our fault.
